The first project within the Graphic design pathway is the self branding project. As a starting point I looked on Pinterest for some and found lots of inspiration for my own self branding project. I really like the use of typography and i also monograms.
I made pin-boards under the themes of Graphic Design, Typography and Monograms.

COLOUR
The foundations of my self branding will be from the different colours I use when creating my design. I started this by looking at the kind of colours that I liked, and i quickly realised that they are all muted quiet colours, this in turn also reflects my personality and i will try and get this across when creating my logo.

After looking at initial colours i decided too start too look at different types of fonts and how i could use/ adapt these when creating my own logo.
During the workshop we were tasked to make a poster. I started making my poster by taking a royalty free image from unsplash. We then used different photoshop techniques including selecting the area to edit, using filters to edit the original image and scaling and rotating images.
This is the final outcome from the workshop. I learned a lot from this workshop and it really helped my Photoshop skills.

I started doing some research into business cards by looking at Pinterest, this gave me a lot of ideas in which i could create my business card.
After creating a logo as part of my self branding project we then looked at how we could use this in industry. A business card is the first thought i had from looking at this, it combines all the elements what we are asked to do. I also wanted something that looked professional and i thought a business card would be perfect for this.

As of this final part of this project was so short i would have liked more time to look at other ways i could present myself, however I am happy with the way my final outcome came out and i really think it reflects me as a designer.
